During your visit, you should experience the Cathedral in Lund, which is considered one of Sweden's main attractions. The area around the Cathedral is the most beautiful and charming parts of Lund with winding alleys and low, colorful houses. There you can also visit one of the many cafes in the park while enjoying the beautiful view of the several hundred year old area.
Another attraction is the Museum of Sketches, which is a unique art museum with a focus on the artistic creative process. Here is the world's largest collection of sketches, models and models for Swedish and international public art.
Also do not miss cycling the dressage on Romeleåsen or hiking in one of the beautiful forests around Lund.

INSIDE LUND
BOTANICAL GARDEN
The "botan" as the botanical garden is called has thousands of different plant species. The garden has been part of Lund University since the 17th century. In the park you can walk around among the old trees, have a picnic in the grass and try to see the goldfish in the large pond. In the greenhouses you can experience everything from rainforest to desert, orange trees and cacti to unique palm trees and beautiful orchids.
THE CULTURE IN LUND
The Outdoor Museum Kulturen can be found in the middle of Lund, next door to the Cathedral. It feels like stepping into your own world where two whole neighborhoods consist of historic buildings and gardens. Walk among preserved and recreated houses from around Sweden - the oldest are actually from the Middle Ages. At Kulturen there are many different exhibitions to visit, some are permanent and others temporary. If you get hungry, there is both a café and a restaurant in the area.
LUNDS DOMKYRKA
Sweden's most visited cathedral is located in the middle of Lund, by the University campus.
The old astrological clock, Horologium Mirabil Lundense, was built as early as 1424 and is a spectacular sight. The carillon with the small rotating figures that appear and
disappears continues to mark the passage of time even today. A visit down in the crypt is also recommended - there are statues of the Giant Finn and his wife clinging to the pillars
which keeps the church up. Legend has it that they were just about to demolish the whole church, when fortunately they were enchanted to stone.
During the summer, guided tours are held every day.

In Lunds Saluhall you can buy everything from game and fish to cheeses, fruit and other goodies. A lunch at one of the restaurants is a nice way to soak up the atmosphere.

SKISSERNAS MUSEUM - THE MUSEUM OF ARTISTIC PROCESS AND PUBLIC ART
In the middle of Lund, near Lund Cathedral, you will find the Museum of Sketches - a unique art museum with a focus on the artistic creative process. Here is the world's largest collection of sketches, models and models for Swedish and international public art.
Here are sketches by international artists such as Henri Matisse, Sonia Delaunay, Henry Moore and Fernand Léger and one of Europe's foremost collections of sketches by Mexican monumental painters such as Diego Rivera and David Alfaro Siqueiros. Works by our Swedish artists such as Sigrid Hjertén, Isaac Grünewald and Siri Derkert and contemporary artists such as Linn Fernström, Gerhard Nordström and Matthias van Arkel can also be viewed. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, the museum has a number of temporary exhibitions each year with both contemporary and older artists. It also offers a rich and varied program for children, young people and adults with guided tours, artist talks, lectures, concerts, creative workshop and much more.

OUTSIDE LUND
BIKE DRESSIN ON ROMELEÅSEN
Bring family and friends on an exciting adventure - dressage cycling on Romeleåsen. Long ago the railway staff used the dressings, but today many of the train tracks are closed and
the dressings are instead rented out to tourists. This tour goes through open landscapes and lush forests and takes 1.5-2 hours.
Bring your own picnic or pre-order food and experience nature in a new way.

DALBY SÖDERSKOG NATIONAL PARK, SKRYLLE AND DALBY STENBROTT
Sweden's smallest national park - Dalby Söderskog, is located just outside Lund. Here is a very beautiful deciduous forest area.
Near the national park is nature Skrylle. The hiking trail Skryllestigen (3.5 km) runs from Dalby Söderskog to the outdoor area Skrylle where nature is located.
It is possible to take the bus to the national park, walk to Skrylle and take the bus home from there or vice versa.
At Knivsåsen, east of Dalby, is Dalby quarry. A popular destination thanks to its dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters. Many Lund residents come here to swim in the crystal clear
the water and grills on the rocks. There are no lifeguards in the area so all activity takes place at your own risk.

ROMELEÅSEN
Romeleåsen is for you who enjoy nature and outdoor life. You walk 12 km from Genarp - Veberöd. In Genarp, there are shops, bakeries and eateries to discover. At the sports car park you reach the Häckeberga mill, where you can enjoy the beautiful cultural environment with ruins from the old "water mill". The connections from and to Lund / Malmö are good.

SCROLL NATURE & OUTDOOR AREA
Skrylle is Lund's largest nature and outdoor area that offers walks in forest and land. There are also exercise tracks where you can run and enjoy in your own little world. You are welcome to bring your pet to the nature reserve and take a lovely walk in the scenic forests.

CALL ARCHAEOLOGICAL CENTER
Uppåkra Archaeological Center, located just south of Lund, is the largest settlement in the Nordic countries and is a thousand-year-old center of power during the Iron Age. Here you have found gold, silver, and bronze objects that you can see at the Historical Museum in the middle of Lund.
