BIRGIT NILSSON MUSEUM
Birgit Nilsson Museum located in Båstad is a famous opera singer who grew up in Båstad. Her home is well preserved in a museum that tells the story of the girl who lived a simple life without either electricity or running water, but she had talent and dreamed of a future in music. Here you can see pictures, film clips and tones from Birgit's career over the years. When you are done with your turn, you can enjoy a coffee in the old stables.

HALLANDS VÄDERÖ
On Hallands Väderö you can swim in crystal clear water, dive and snorkel and discover wonderful small coves with white sandy beaches. The island is also home to a large number of birds, around 63 nested species and wildlife beyond the ordinary. Hallands Väderö is a pristine gem where the tranquility does not leave any visitor untouched. Explore the island on your own or with the family (dogs are also to the island). In Sandhamn, where the tour boats dock, there is a small café where you can buy sandwiches, ice cream and drinks.
The boats depart from Torekovs Hamn daily from 1 June. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office in the port.

HOVS HALLAR
Hovs Hallar is a nature reserve located between Båstad and Torekov on the Bjäre Peninsula. The place, which is the steepest coastal part on the Bjäre Peninsula, is known as a filming location for
Ingmar Bergman's "The Seventh Seal".
The sea meets land in a magical, almost unreal way with cliffs, rauks, cobblestone fields and cave-like formations.

KATTEGATTLEDEN
The Kattegattleden is Sweden's first national cycle route and the Cycle Route of the Year in Europe 2018. It runs between Helsingborg in the south and Gothenburg in the north, all the way through Halland.
The trail is a total of 390 km long with a unique camp near the sea and is divided into 8 sections.

KULLABERG NATURE RESERVE
From many places close to the sea in northwestern Skåne, you can see Kullaberg's silhouette on the horizon. A visit to the nature reserve is recommended both for those interested in nature and for those who appreciate beautiful views.
Naturum Kullaberg is a visitor center at Kullen's lighthouse at the far end of the northern inlet to the Sound. Here you can look at the exhibition "The gate to Kullaberg" which shows Kullaberg's nature reserve from sky to sea. Around nature there are modules placed, where you can guess at bird sounds, mushrooms, flowers or strange animals in the sea. The children's favorite is often the saltwater aquarium where anyone who wants to can feel a starfish. At nature Kullaberg you can get tips and ideas for hikes and excursions in nature.
During your visit, there is also the opportunity for cave walks and porpoise safaris under the auspices of the Kullaberg guides.

NORRVIKEN'S GARDENS
On the outskirts of Båstad is one of Sweden's most popular gardens - Norrviken. The unique style gardens were created by Rudolf Abelin a hundred years ago and are enjoyed here
floral splendor, walking trails, culture and events. Restaurant Orangeriet is popular for its good food. There is also a café inside the gardens and the Chocolaterian at the entrance.

Sport & Äventyr Camp Båstad is a mixture of sports camp, summer camp and summer sports school with a rich range of activities with elements of the best of summer Båstad and the Bjäre Peninsula has to offer. For a few weeks in July and August, children aged 6-14 can participate in various camps, both full days and half days. A very popular summer holiday fun! Pre-registration required.

SÖDERÅSEN NATIONAL PARK
Söderåsens National Park, 40 km east of Helsingborg is one of the largest, contiguous nature-protected deciduous forests in Northern Europe.
The nature here is varied and offers lush deciduous forests, mighty cliffs with high cliffs, flowing streams and wide views. The most popular part is the deeply cut valley at Skäralid. The valley is a fissure valley with mighty dimensions with vertical cliffs that surround Skärån that flows at the bottom. Lake Odensjön in Nackarpsdalen and the viewpoints Kopparhatten, Hjortsprånget and Lierna along Skäralidsdalen are also places that impress.
You can start your forest walk at the park entrance in Skäralid. The Naturum information center is also located here. There is another entrance to the park in Röstånga.

TROPIKARIET
For rainy days, a visit to the indoor zoo Tropikariet in Helsingborg is recommended. Here you can try feeding the meerkats, petting a shark and sticking your head next to the crocodiles.
At Tropikariet there are exotic animal species from all over the world, such as lemurs from Madagascar, small monkeys from South Africa, bats and sloths. Walk through the rainforest and scout the poisonous reptiles in the African part. There is also a café for those who get hungry.
VEIN
The pearl of the strait Ven is located between Sweden and Denmark. In the middle of the blue Sound, Ven rises steeply from the sea and forms a lush plateau with a wonderful view of the Scanian and Danish coasts. With a circumference of just over a mile, the island is a good destination even with children. Rent bikes and get around on your own or book a guided tour.
Take a dip in the sea, fish for crabs among the rocks, visit the Tycho Brahe Museum and for the adults a visit to the island's famous distillery Spirit of Hven is recommended.
You get here by boat, either from Landskrona Harbor or Råå harbor south of Helsingborg.
