Margretetorps Gästgifvaregård is one of the oldest inns in Scandinavia, dating back to the 14th century.

 

It is located on the southern part of the Hallandsåsen ridge, in one of the most scenic areas of Skåne where you will be sure to find calm and quiet. We have hosted meetings for hundreds of years – it started out with gatherings for the many farmers in the area, and around the beginning of the 20th century it became popular among famous writers. In present day, our guests will hold modern style meetings with a touch of history, celebrate with friends and family or just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

 

We are known for our top class cuisine and we cook traditional delicacies from Skåne and food is the core of our business.

 

One could say, it is as flavourful as it is beautiful!
