The area of Ystad and Österlen offers something for everyone – everything from the physically challenging to the culturally calm, for all interests and groups.

There is plenty to do - Jeep safaris, beer- and wine tasting, courses in silversmithing, glass blowing and cooking, guided Segway tours, art museum tours and visits to the ancient cloister. The town of Ystad is known from the crime TV series Wallander, and there are guided tours of the filming locations to take. You can also visit Cineteket to learn about film production, meet a filming crew and try out special effects.

The nature surrounding Ystad and Österlen is incredibly beautiful and a visit to the ancient rock formation of Ales Stenar is highly recommended. Take the opportunity to soak up the beautiful scenery in the area and don’t miss out on the national park of Stenhuvud nearby.
