For more than 25 years, we have helped companies and organisations find the right place for meetings, conferences and events.
We don't believe there is one meeting venue that is best for everyone. It is about finding the right place for your particular meeting – based on the group, the purpose, the atmosphere and the practical requirements.
We know Skåne's meeting venues, the people behind them and what works in practice. That makes it easier for us to find the right place for you – whether you're looking for a large conference hotel, a castle, a countryside venue or somewhere by the sea.

Our story
Skånska Möten was founded with the idea of making it easier to find and book great meeting venues in Skåne.
A lot has changed since then. But one thing remains the same: great meetings start with the right setting.
Today, Skånska Möten is run by us, Elin and Jimmy Moritz. We both have extensive experience from the hotel, restaurant and meetings industry, and we know how much needs to work behind the scenes to make a meeting truly successful.
For us, the job is just as much about relationships as it is about venues, prices and practical details. We know our member venues and the people behind them – and we know that personal contact often makes all the difference.
Add a little extra to your conference
A great conference doesn't have to end when the meeting is over. An activity, an inspiring speaker or an unexpected experience can bring new energy, create a sense of togetherness and become what participants remember.
Over the years, we've built up a group of favourites – people and companies we know can add that little extra. We call them Our Friends.

We like meeting in person
Visiting 40 different meeting venues on your own takes time. That's why we make it easier for meeting planners to discover new places.
We organise familiarisation trips, inspiration days, seminars and workshops for meeting planners from Sweden and Denmark. In one day, you can experience several venues, meet the people behind them and get inspiration for future meetings.
Hopefully, you'll leave with new ideas and a few new favourites.

Elin Moritz
Meeting Expert
I have spent most of my professional life in the hotel and meetings industry. Before taking over Skånska Möten, I worked as a hotel manager, among other roles, and had the opportunity to experience just about every aspect of what goes on behind the scenes at a hotel.
In 2012, I took over Skånska Möten.
What I enjoy most about my work is the combination of people, meetings and development. One day I might be helping a company find the right conference venue, and the next I’m sitting down with one of our member venues, discussing how we can work together to create more business.
I believe in personal relationships, curiosity and the idea that you never stop learning.

Jimmy Moritz
Marketing & Sales
I have a background in the restaurant and hotel industry and have worked in roles ranging from waiter and restaurant manager to sommelier, hotel director and restaurant owner.
Since 2017, I have been part of Skånska Möten, where I work with sales, marketing and our meeting planners.
What I enjoy most is meeting people – and being part of building relationships that lead to new opportunities. You’ll often find me at our inspiration days, trade fairs and other activities for meeting planners.
To me, good business is all about building great teams.
