TO TRAVEL TO AND IN SKÅNE
Most of what you want to experience in Skåne is easily accessible by train, bus or car, regardless of whether you come here for a conference or holiday.
FLIGHT
COPENHAGEN AIRPORT
Take the train from Copenhagen Airport to Skåne. You buy the ticket via Skånetrafiken's vending machines at the airport or via Skånetrafiken's App. The journey to Malmö takes 30 minutes.
MALMÖ AIRPORT
Take the Airport Bus to Malmö or Lund. You can buy the ticket on Flygbussarna's website , in ticket machines in the terminals or at 7-Eleven, Pressbyrån and at the information desk at Malmö Airport

ÄNGELHOLM-HELSINGBORG AIRPORT
Take the airport bus / Taxi Västra Skåne to Ängelholm and Helsingborg. You buy tickets on the bus.

KRISTIANSTAD ÖSTERLEN AIRPORT
Take the Skåne Express to Kristianstad. You buy the ticket via Skånetrafiken's App. The journey to Kristianstad takes about 20 minutes.
TRAIN OR BUS
In Skåne, you travel easily with Skånetrafiken.
On some bus lines and trains you can bring a bicycle if space allows. Then you need a special bike ticket.
The easiest way to buy a ticket is Skånetrafiken's App. If you have an iPhone or Android and an Internet connection, you can download the app and buy your tickets there (connect it to your credit card, MasterCard or VISA). With the app, you can book tickets in advance, which you then activate just before boarding the bus or train. The tickets work without an Internet connection.
You can also buy your ticket in one of Skånetrafiken's ticket machines located at Copenhagen Airport and at bus and train stations in Copenhagen and Skåne. You can not buy a ticket on board the train!
Skånetrafiken offers a summer ticket between 14 June and 15 August. Read more on Skånetrafiken's website.
If you come to Skåne from the north, you probably go with SJ. You can buy tickets on SJ's website or in their app. NOTE! Note that Skånetrafiken's tickets do not apply to SJ trains.

BORDER CONTROLS FOR ENTRY TO SWEDEN
Since January 2016, border controls have been carried out on entry into Sweden at the train stations at the Öresund Bridge, at the toll station on the bridge and at the ferries in Denmark and Sweden. There are no controls in the opposite direction. Make sure you have a valid ID with photo identification for all family members (passport, valid driving license or approved Nordic EU ID card).
